He was named one of Utah’s Entrepreneurs of the year and he has secured a record list of patents. David was also awarded the I.N. Blokhina Award from the Russian Federation in honor of his commitment to Transfer Factor research, patents, and innovative production methods. David received his bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Bianca Lisonbee is truly the heart of 4Life culture. She believes strongly in helping distributors achieve personal development through 4Life. Bianca brought more than 20 years of direct selling and nutritional supplement experience to 4Life. She is committed to involvement in philanthropic activities in her own community and throughout the world. Her insights, sense of humor, and desire to make a difference for good in the world make Bianca a favorite speaker at 4Life events. She received her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
As 4Life President since 2004, Steve Tew gives distributors confidence that partnered with 4Life, they can accomplish anything they set their minds to achieve. Steve’s personal confidence comes from decades of experience. Prior to joining 4Life several years ago, he worked in a number of financial and operational capacities at ShapeRite Concepts, Park City Group, and Mrs. Fields Cookies, as well as Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he worked as a Certified Public Accountant. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
Jeff Kalinin oversees operations for Europe, Russia, and Latin America. He has 18 years of experience in the Information Technology arena and, prior to joining 4Life, held roles as IT director, data communications manager, and programmer. Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science at San Diego State University in San Diego, California.
Steve Apple oversees 4Life operations in Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and the Philippines. An individual with well-rounded business experience, Steve has 13 years of experience in every key department, including finance, marketing, sales, and international operations. His insight into the “big picture” helps Steve generate innovative and successful strategies for global expansion. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology (with an emphasis in statistics) and an MBA.
Trent Tenney’s years of experience have taken him to several different facets of the marketing world. He began his career in sales and marketing at Zions First National Bank and Bank of America; he then left the banking industry to oversee the publication of more than 200 alternative and preventive health publications at Woodland Publishing, which led him to develop niche markets for health and direct sales publishing. Trent has a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
With a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Nebraska and more than 20 years of experience in Research and Development and Quality Control Labs, Dr. Vollmer understands how to develop quality products from start to finish. His expertise includes technical and administrative leadership, validation studies for new products, good manufacturing practices, production records, product specifications, and stability testing. Since joining 4Life, he has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the high quality of 4Life Transfer Factor® products—one of the many things that makes him proud to work here. Dr. Vollmer is committed to ensuring that 4Life utilizes the highest quality ingredients in order to continue making the best products. He believes the company’s greatest asset is the many talented and caring employees. Dr. Vollmer enjoys attending events where he can meet distributors and hear their inspirational stories. Before joining 4Life, Emma Oganova was president of science and education for a direct selling company; she also organized and managed a non-profit organization that created a children’s center in Armenia to provide medical and psychological help for victims of the 1988 Armenian earthquake. Emma developed an educational system for Russian physicians and distributors for food supplements, and has completed more than 20 clinical studies on the effectiveness of food supplements. She’s received the Kosigin and Pokrovsky awards from the Russian Federation and was elected Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences. Emma holds a degree in internal medicine from the Stavropol State Medical Institute, and a degree in cardiology from the Armenian State Medical Institute.
Although Mark Ostler has served in the roles of vice president, controller, and CPA for Mrs. Fields Cookies, SBI Group, and KPMG, he chose 4Life for the unbeatable combination of genuine people and an outstanding opportunity. Mark travels the globe for 4Life, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout this worldwide company. In addition to his traveling, Mark keeps current with his professional affiliations with the AICPA and the UACPA. Mark holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
With a resume that includes companies such as Mrs. Fields, Merrill Lynch, Arthur Anderson, and Overstock.com, and experience as a financial and corporate controller, Danny Lee was perfectly suited to oversee daily operations at 4Life. Danny works closely with international product registration, distributor services, distribution, purchasing, and manufacturing. Danny holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In his position as Vice President of Finance, Nolan Buttars ensures that 4Life offices around the world have their finances in order. He’s been involved in the finance world for close to 30 years, with 10 of those years dedicated to the direct selling industry. Before joining 4Life, Nolan held positions as CFO and controller for a direct selling company and CPA firm. At 4Life, he implemented accounting software that has significantly streamlined company operations. Nolan received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
As Vice President of Accounting for 4Life, Deann Carter supervises our international accounting functions. She works closely with 4Life offices around the world. And with more than 15 years’ experience as a financial controller, Deann’s the perfect person for the job. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
Hema Heimuli is passionate about making sure our worldwide company structure fits in perfectly with the executives’ vision for the future. His past experience in both direct selling and organizational development, helping streamline organizations such as Harman Music Group and Nu Skin International, makes him a great fit for his role at 4Life. Hema holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah.
As vice president over 4Life’s markets in Europe and Latin America, Darrell Ieremia brings over a decade of experience of growing global markets in both Latin America and Southeast Asia. At 4Life, he trains local staff and distributor leaders, evaluates current processes for improvement, implements 4Life’s global vision in the markets he oversees, and works to understand how local customs, culture, and competition will play a role in future sales and marketing strategies. Darrell holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Calvin Jolley is responsible for 4Life corporate and global field communications, public and distributor relations, international press protocols, conversion campaigns, and execution strategies. He’s been with the company since 2005 as Director of Strategic Development. Since that time, Calvin has worked to streamline international communications and marketplace development for 4Life offices throughout the world. Calvin has over a decade of experience in this field and is a member of the Direct Selling Association (DSA) Communications Committee. He received his bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jaime Pierce has been with 4Life for over a decade, and in that time, she has held various positions in the Distributor Services, Operations, and Informational Technology departments. In her role as Vice President of Distributor Services, Jaime provides vision, direction, and leadership to ensure that both company and department objectives are being met. Because her highest priority is providing superior customer service for 4Life distributors and customers, Jaime continually works to improve processes and methods within her department.
Kathryn Price has over 20 years of experience in the legal and nutritional supplement industries, making her well-suited to manage legal affairs for a growing worldwide company such as 4Life. As Vice President of Legal Affairs, Kathryn is a vital liaison between 4Life executives, distributors, and specialized outside counsel. Her day-to-day responsibilities include FDA and FTC regulatory compliance, personnel management, litigation/arbitration management, monitoring of worldwide trademarks and patents, and distributor compliance and discipline. Kathryn holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jeremy Taeoalii began his 4Life career in the call center, and then moved to the warehouse where he worked his way up to supervisor. Later he switched gears and became the supervisor, and then the manager, for the distribution center. In 2001, Jeremy switched gears once more and moved into the IT Department, where he now serves as Vice President.
Norman Taylor manages the day-to-day operations at 4Life for product manufacturing, distribution, shipping, warehousing, and product registration. He has 30 years of operations experience, including being a CEO of a small sales and manufacturing company. Norman also spent time at companies such as Tradimex Equipment and Supply, Inc., Daw Technologies, Novell, WordPerfect, and SoftCopy.
